PostScript: Creating a PostScript File with Mac OS X
In OS X it is easy to create a PostScript (.ps) file.  You can do this through the print options.  When you are ready to create the PostScript file, select Print from the File menu.  Under the Printer and Presets pop-up menus you will see a third pop-up menu.  From that list select Output Options.  You will have the option to save the print job to a PDF or PostScript file.  Select PostScript and click Save....  You will then have the chance to save it wherever you like.  See Fig. 1.
