ECE Prof. James Davis is part of the team of researchers who wrote the paper based on three semesters' worth of training in cybersecurity in ECE's software engineering course.

Both of Purdue ECE's graduate programs received their highest-ever ranking, with Electrical Engineering at number 7 and Computer Engineering ranked 8th.

The paper, titled "Arkade: k-Nearest Neighbor Search with Non-Euclidean Distances using GPU Ray Tracing," talks about improving a specific type of search algorithm called k-Nearest Neighbor (kNN) for finding the closest points in a dataset.
