On September 23, 2010, the School of Chemical Engineering will honor William Greer (BSChE ’45, MSChE ’49), Harold Igdaloff (BSChE ’47), and Peter Kraemer (BSChE ’88) with the Outstanding Chemical Engineer Award.

Deborah Luedtke, secretary in the School of Chemical Engineering and chair of CSSAC wants the Clerical and Service Staff Advisory Committee to continue to play a positive role at Purdue.

Arvind Varma, R. Games Slayter Distinguished Professor and Head, School of Chemical Engineering, has been elected as an Académico Correspondiente (Corresponding Academician, the category for foreign members) of Mexico's Academy of Engineering. This election is in recognition of his academic and professional accomplishments as well as his contributions in support of Chemical Engineering in Mexico.

Phillip Wankat, the Clifton L. Lovell Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering, received the 2010 ASEE Joseph J. Martin Award, given for the best paper in the ChE Division at the previous ASEE meeting.

Duncan Mellichamp, PhD ‘64, Receives the CACHE Award of the ChE Division, ASEE, 2010 for outstanding contributions to Computing in Chemical Engineering.
