Sandy Hendryx, Secretary V in the Undergraduate Office, received the Mortar Board Rose Award. Sandy was nominated by undergraduate students.

David Corti, Professor of Chemical Engineering, has been named a Purdue University Faculty Scholar for 2011-2016. This University-wide honor is given to select mid-career faculty who are on an accelerated path for academic distinction.

Two ChE professors are among the recipients of the 2011 Faculty Excellence Awards given by the Purdue College of Engineering.

Assistant Professor Julie Liu was awarded the 3M Nontenured Faculty Grant. This highly competitive award recognizes outstanding new faculty for the quality and pertinence of their research and is intended to help them achieve tenure, remain in their academic positions and conduct research.
