Juanita Duque | Industrial Engineering
Co-Founder and CEO, Seccuri, Inc.
Juanita Duque is the co-founder and CEO of the first startup to use AI for cybersecurity skillsets and talent and the first-ever mother-daughter startup in this space. Seccuri, Inc. is a global platform with the goal of closing the $4 million+ cybersecurity talent shortfall and providing support to reduce cyber risk. With its specialized AI algorithm, the company identifies skill gaps and recommends opportunities to upskill and reskill workers. The algorithm can be used publicly or internally so that employers can quickly find the talent needed for any job that requires cybersecurity skills. This algorithm and the platform combine all aspects of the cybersecurity skillset ecosystem - something never done before.
Since launching the first minimum viable product (MVP) of the platform in 2022, Seccuri has added 15,000+ registered users in more than 60 countries and added clients to its pipeline of 3 continents and counting. The company also has assembled an advisory board with high-level leaders from industry, government, and academia.
Duque, who holds dual citizenship in Colombia and the United States, began her career at Accenture USA. She led the team in charge of designing a functional and technical payment strategy to digitally transform one of the LATAM group's largest airlines. At C&S, a boutique technology and cybersecurity consulting firm, she built the cybersecurity and cyber risk services portfolio - cold-calling clients, forming a team, and growing the company into a well-known entity in South America. Since joining C&S in 2018, she has contributed to more than 90 projects in 15 countries.
