Ms. Joseph graduated from Purdue University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering. She began her career within Exelon Nuclear working in Nuclear Fuels BWR Core Design prior to transferring to Clinton Power Station in Clinton, IL, as a reactor engineer.


In 2010, Ms. Joseph was the first female at Clinton Power Station to receive a Senior Reactor Operator License. Following receiving her license, Carolyne progressed through various managerial roles within the Operations Department. Carolyne has held various senior leader and director roles at both Clinton Power Station and Dresden Station, including Outage Manager, Work Management Director, Director of Organizational Performance, Engineering Director, Operations Director, Plant Manager, and Site Vice President. Carolyne is currently the Site Vice President at Harris Nuclear Plant with Duke Energy, where she is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facility.


Carolyne resides on a farm in Morris, IL with her husband, Martin, and three children.
