Purdue University and Duke Energy on Thursday reported excellent progress on the exploration into the feasibility of using advanced nuclear energy technology to meet the long-term energy needs of the Purdue West Lafayette campus, with plans to release their findings on this portion of the project in the coming weeks.

The model predicts unplanned shutdowns, which can help reduce operations and maintenance costs.

Travis Crawford, a PhD candidate at Purdue University's School of Nuclear Engineering, has been awarded his second Directed Energy Professional Society (DEPS) graduate research grant.

Three School of Nuclear Engineering educators have been recognized as Outstanding Engineering Teachers for their excellence in teaching in 2022.

Arvind Sundaram, Ph.D. candidate in the School of Nuclear Engineering, won the 2021-2022 Center for Resilient Infrastructures, Systems, and Processes (CRISP) Student Research Competition.
