Research Interest:
Powder processing including dry rheology (video), ordered mixing, granulation, drying, milling, and compaction related to a range of products and applications.Recent projects include:
- Characterization of powders used in additive manufacturing – distributed size, shape, curvature, and ensemble flow;
- Granulation of formulations having high levels of micronized powder actives, including scale up from lab to manufacturing;
- Surface treatment using peening – media characterization (PDF), stress-field modeling, and process flowsheets.
