The workshop celebrates the 60th birthday of Cyrus Madnia, a pioneer in the field of computational fluid dynamics.  The event will take place April 12 and 13, 2019 at the University at Buffalo, New York. 

Jay Gore is the Vincent P. Reilly Professor in Combustion Engineering and Associate Head for Graduate Studies for the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University.  Gore was recently elected as a fellow in the Combustion Institute; he is also a fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
