GEARE Junior Year - A semester of engineering coursework in China

Purdue School of Mechanical Engineering and Shanghai Jiao Tong University are partnering to offer a new program, GEARE Junior Year, beginning Spring 2009. SJTU, with an ME program ranked first in China, has just completed a new engineering campus.

Jay Gore named director of Energy Center at Discovery Park

Gore, the Vincent P. Reilly Professor in Mechanical Engineering, had led the Energy Center as its interim director since its inception in 2005. He also is the past associate dean for research and entrepreneurship in the College of Engineering.
