Congratulations to Guillermo Paniagua and Carl Wassgren, receiving named professorships! Guillermo Paniagua is now the Reilly Professor of Mechanical Engineering; and Carl Wassgren is the Charles E. and Louise W. Springer Professor of Mechanical Engineering.

Blaire, a child with Rett Syndrome, gained a new sense of independence (and a new set of wheels!) thanks to a group of Purdue University engineering students. Working with an organization called GoBabyGo, students designed and built a custom power-wheel car that put a fun twist on physical therapy.
