The Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering celebrated two remarkable faculty achievements on September 26 at Purdue University’s annual "Celebration of Teaching Excellence" awards ceremony.

Professor Shimon Y. Nof is a professor of industrial engineering at Purdue and the director of the PRISM Center (Production, Robotics and Integration Software for Manufacturing & Management).

Dr. Young-Jun Son, James J. Solberg Head and Ransburg Professor of Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering, gave the opening keynote speech on “Multi-paradigm, Online, Hierarchical Simulations to Support Process Mining” at the 2024 International Conference of Process Mining (ICPM) held in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Oct. 14-18, 2024.
