The Department of Education has received a $1 million grant from the National Science Foundation to launch a new Multidisciplinary Engineering (MDE) program. The program is built around research themes that cut across traditional discipline boundaries; core courses will be taught by faculty in Purdue Engineerings eight signature areas.
