An NSF program, the Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation works to increase the number of underrepresented students successfully completing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics undergraduate programs. An honors student in Child Development and Family Studies, Citta is working with ENE professor Demetra Evangelou and CDFS professor Jim Elicker to examine pre-engineering behaviors exhibited by preschoolers and the activities and lessons in the classroom that foster those behaviors.
