Arvind Varma, Purdue's R. Games Slayter Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering and head of the School of Chemical Engineering, has been honored in a special issue of Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research magazine.

The School of Chemical Engineering is delighted to announce that Dr. Doraiswami Ramkrishna, Harry Creighton Peffer Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering, has been elected to membership in the National Academy of Engineering. He is being honored "For creation of new model concepts and solutions that improved the engineering of biological and particulate processes."
