The School of Chemical Engineering will host its annual reception at the 2010 American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) meeting in Salt Lake City on Monday, November 8, 2010.The event will take place from 7.00 to 9.00 pm at the Salt Palace Convention Center, Room 254 A/B/C, Salt Lake City, UT.

Grayson Ford, Graduate Student working with Professor Agrawal, received an award for best poster presentation at the 35th Photovoltaic Specialists Conference (PVSC), Honolulu, Hawaii, for his poster titled "Solar Cells via Selenization of CuInS2 Nanocrystals: Effect of Synthesis Precursor".

Vishesh Shah, Graduate Student working with Professor Agrawal, is a winner of a 2010 AIChE
Separations Division Graduate Student Award.

The 19th Annual Chemical Engineering Graduate Research Symposium took place on August 18th & 19th, 2010.
The symposium started in 1992, and since then has proven to be an important venue for graduate students to interact with professionals from a wide variety of industries. The Symposium gave senior Ph.D. students a chance to present their research to industrial representatives and receive feedback from active members of the chemical engineering community. Additionally, the afternoon poster session showcased the full breadth of the exciting areas of research pursued in the School of Chemical Engineering.
