Professor Houze Inducted to Purdue Co-Op Hall of Fame

Professor Neal Houze was in the inaugural class of inductees for Purdue University’s Cooperative Education Hall of Fame. He, along with the other four honorees, was recognized through a ceremony in Armstrong Hall on October 15.

Three recent alumni of our School received National Science Foundation Career Awards in 2010. While studying for their PhD at Purdue, they were all advised by Professor Doraiswami Ramkrishna.

Pedro Arce (PhD 1987), was named "Distinguished Faculty Fellow" for his contributions to research, education and service at Tennessee Technological University. This is the highest honor for a faculty member at Tennessee Tech.

Purdue Chemical Engineering ranked again in 2008-09 among the top producers of BS and PhD graduates in US, according to the “Report of the ACS Committee on Professional Training, 2009,” published in C&E News on August 23, 2010.
