Kristi Anseth (BSChE '92) has been elected a member of the National Academy of Sciences.

Professor Jim Caruthers, along with Professor Doug Adams (ME) and four graduate students have developed a new technique to improve quality control of lithium-ion batteries.

W. Nicholas Delgass, Maxine Spencer Nichols Emeritus Professor of Chemical Engineering, is the recipient of the 2013 Herman Pines Award in Catalysis. This award is given to recognize Professor Delgass’ outstanding contributions to catalyst characterization, reaction and catalyst chemistry, and advanced catalyst design.

Rakesh Agrawal, Winthrop E. Stone Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering, has been elected as a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
