Professors Carl Laird and Zoltan Nagy were selected to attend the 6th annual Frontiers of Engineering Education Symposium to be held October 26-29, 2014, at the National Academies' Beckman Center in Irvine, CA. Participation in the symposium is based on application and rigorous selection process by the organizing committee.

Fabio H. Ribeiro, the R. Norris and Eleanor Shreve Professor of Chemical Engineering, was elected Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
