Quinn Huckaba, a senior cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point, has been selected as the 2024 recipient of the Purdue Military Research Institute (PMRI) Osborn Fellowship. Huckaba will collaborate with Professor Can Li from the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering in this year’s PMRI Summer Intern Program.

The 3rd biennial Purdue Energetic Materials Summit (PEMS'23), which took place June 13-15, 2023 on the Purdue University campus, hosted over 100 energetic materials experts from across government, industry and academia. Two Purdue University professors are being recognized for their research in chemical engineering computing.

Purdue University engineers have created a patent-pending method to create layered perovskite nanowires that exhibit a wide range of unusual optical properties beyond conventional perovskites. Their research has been published in the peer-reviewed journal Science.

Recently, the Institute launched the world's first Tech Diplomacy Academy, a digital platform where leaders from government, business, technology, and civic sectors receive training on critical emerging technologies and strategies vital to U.S. national security and economic prosperity.
