Dr. Fabio Ribeiro featured in Fall 2020 Dimensions of Discovery

Dr. Fabio Ribeiro, R. Norris and Eleanor Shreve Professor of Chemical Engineering and Director of the NSF Center for Innovative and Strategic Transformation of Alkane Resources (CISTAR), was featured in the recent Office of the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships Dimensions of Discovery for the 2020 Sigma Xi Faculty Research Award.

ChE alumnus Dr. Antonios G. Mikos (MS 1985, PhD 1988) elected to Academia Europaea

Purdue Chemical Engineering alumnus Dr. Antonios G. Mikos (MS 1985, PhD 1988) was recently elected to the prestigious Academia Europaea. Dr. Mikos was elected for his work in biomaterials and tissue engineering. Mikos is the Louis Calder Professor of Bioengineering, of chemical and biomolecular engineering, of materials science and nanoengineering, and of chemistry, and director of the NIH Center for Engineering Complex Tissues, the Center for Excellence in Tissue Engineering and the J. W. Cox Laboratory for Biomedical Engineering at Rice University.

ChE to host virtual PhD program information sessions

Purdue University Davidson School of Chemical Engineering will host two virtual information sessions for anyone interested in learning more about the PhD program. The identical sessions will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28 and Thursday, October 29.

2020 ChemE Kids Day registration now open; free event to be virtual

ChemE Kids Day, an annual free event designed to give students in grades 3-5 an opportunity to learn about chemical engineering and science, will be held virtually on October 17 from 11:00am - 2:00 p.m. The event is hosted by Omega Chi Epsilon, the national chemical engineering honor society, will include hands-on activities that can be completed at home.
