Aerospace engine manufacturing giant Rolls-Royce will expand its already large footprint at Purdue, thanks to a new commitment among the university, the Purdue Research Foundation and the company.

The planned 65,000-square-foot Hypersonic Applied Research Facility (HARF) will house two cutting-edge wind tunnels, enhancing Purdue’s world-leading capabilities in hypersonics evaluation and testing.

Daniel Gochenaur, Caroline Kren, Zachary Marshall and Ryan Strelau were among the group recognized as individuals who are on course "to change the face of the aerospace and defense industry."
