AAE junior Nicki Liu was one of 12 undergraduate students awarded a scholarship by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Foundation.

Liu received the Leatrice Gregory Pendray Scholarship ($1,250). Applicants were female college students with a minimum 3.3 GPA in a field of science or engineering who were AIAA student members. Recipients can apply to renew their scholarship annually until they reach graduation, AIAA’s website said.

Liu had a three co-op rotation with Northrop Grumman, including back-to-back rotations in structures and the final rotation, which ended in August, in instrumentation and vibration.
