Lisa Crain Receives the Mortar Board Rose Award

Lisa Crain, undergraduate secretary in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, received the 2012 Mortar Board Rose Award. Lisa was nominated by AAE student organization AAESAC.

This award honor’s a member of the clerical or service staff at Purdue who always goes above and beyond the call of duty and Lisa was cited for her dedication to Scholarship, Leadership and Service. 

In addition to the Award Banquet, Lisa was also surprised by members of the chapter, who greeted her in her office. The Awards Committee receives over 70 nominations a year and the Rose Award has been ongoing since the early 1980's

Lynly Horine Recipient of the Eleanor O. Kaplan Award

Congratulations to Lynly Horine, account assistant in the ARMS business office for the School of Materials Engineering and the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, who has been awarded the Eleanor O. Kaplan Award.

Nominated by the School of Materials Engineering, this university-wide award recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding customer service, make significant contributions to their area through individual leadership, show creative or innovative methods of serving their customers, and provide significant contributions to improving customer service.
