Mark Ritz is a 1972 graduate who went on to a successful career in the international automotive industry. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Mark decided on Purdue based on a combination of its engineering reputation and the value that it represented.

AAE moves up in the U.S. News & World Report Rankings

US News & World Report has released this year's national rankings of undergraduate programs. The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics ranking for this year is at #4, up from #6 last year.

CPIAC is the U.S. national clearinghouse and technical resource center for data, reports, and analyses related to system and component level technologies for chemical, electrical, and nuclear propulsion for rockets, missiles, and space and gun propulsion systems.

STS-127 - Go For Launch With Twitter Updates and Questions via YouTube

Purdue University's connection with space continues with alumnus Commander Mark L. Polansky BSAAE'78; MSAAE'78 and Mission Specialist Dr. David A. Wolf BSEE'78 serving as crew on STS-127.

Polansky will be the 2nd astronaut to "Tweet" from space.
He is posting Twitter updates as he prepares for STS-127 and tweeting as astro_127
