The Purdue Chapter of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS), held the Spring Space Forum 2010 on April 6th, in the Loeb Playhouse.

Professor Kathleen Howell has been awarded the Elmer F. Bruhn Teaching Award 2010 and the College of Engineering Faculty Award of Excellence.

We were very sad to hear of the passing of Walker "Bud" Mahurin BSAE'49; OAE'99 on May 11 at age 91. Mahurin was a hero in the fullest sense of the word and had many accomplishments during his active serves in both WWII and the Korean War.

Congratulations to Dr. Daniel DeLaurentis and Dr. Inseok Hwang who have both been promoted to Associate Professor and to Dr. Barrett Caldwell (By Courtesy) who has been promoted to full Professor.

The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics offers online master's-level engineering courses designed for working professional engineers, providing an opportunity to earn non-thesis online Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics degrees via distance learning. The distance courses from the renowned engineering program of Purdue's School of Aeronautics and Aeronautics and Astronautics are administered by Engineering Professional Education (ProEd).
