AAE Honor the 2010 Outstanding Aerospace Engineers on Nov. 5th
On Friday, November 5th, AAE held it's annual Outstanding Aerospace Engineers Award Banquet to honor 7 of our alumni whose professional contributions demonstrated excellence in industry, academia, governmental service, or other endeavors that reflect the value of an aerospace engineering degree.

AAE Associate Professor, Dr. DeLaurentis, working to improve missile defense
Dr. DeLaurentis' research is working with the U.S. Department of Defense's Missile Defense Agency to develop software that would improve the ability to manage the large volume of incoming data during an enemy attack.

AAE Adjunct Professor, John Rusek's company to partner with Purdue on aviation projects
John Rusek's company, Swift Enterprises Ltd. has entered into an agreement that will allow Purdue University researchers to test the company's unleaded, renewable general aviation fuel during various projects.

Astronaut David Wolf to be on Campus
Purdue University alumnus David Wolf will speak on campus Oct. 29 about his experiences as an astronaut. Wolf's talk, which is free and open to the public, begins at 7 p.m. in Stewart Center's Fowler Hall.
