The future of human spaceflight and exploration will be the topic of a one-day forum March 29 at Purdue University. The Spring Space Forum is sponsored annually by the Purdue University chapter of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space and the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

AAE System of Systems Laboratory led by Associate Professor Daniel DeLaurentis has received a 2011 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. The Lab maintained a Gold composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2010, to Sept. 30, 2011.

Dr. David B. Doman has been honored as Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). The distinction of Fellow is conferred by AIAA upon outstanding members of the Institute who have made notable and valuable contributions to the arts, sciences, or technology of aeronautics or astronautics.
